Overview

Alex Gardner understands well that all the tiny, complicated details of corporate transactions and business deals can make those legal proceedings difficult and stressful for people trying to move their businesses forward. That’s why they need an attorney who won’t lose the forest for the trees—in his work with his corporate and business clients, Alex carefully balances focus on all the fine details that make a transaction tick with an eye for the big picture goals that the transaction is designed to achieve. Alex’s ultimate aim is to help his clients build the businesses that they aspire to create in their communities.

Alex’s litigation and educational backgrounds give him a distinct edge as a business and corporate law attorney. His commercial litigation experience gives him an enhanced perspective on transactions—knowing how they tend to break down allows him to build them up stronger in the first place—while his study of economics lends him an understanding of how the market works and an ability to crunch the numbers that are so crucial in corporate law matters. Alex is prepared to assist clients in Lexington and beyond with any corporate or business law needs that may arise, including mergers and acquisitions, new business LLC packages, entity formation, entity governance, capital raising activities, purchase agreements, regulatory compliance, lending and finance, and more. Clients can rely on Alex to be empathetic, trustworthy, and grounded regardless of the type of matter at hand.

A fourth generation Lexingtonian, Alex strongly believes in giving back to the community that has given him so much. He assists with Pro Se Divorce Clinics for Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, serves on the Board of Directors of the International Book Project, lends his time to various political campaigns, and consistently donates blood through the Kentucky Blood Center. In his spare time, Alex enjoys walking his dog Cooper, attempting to grow plants, and completing home improvement projects.
