As an inherently curious, knowledge-seeking person in all aspects of my life, I am passionate about finding the answers that the law provides. Laws are made for the protection of our citizens and to solve problems within each community, and I enjoy using the law to find the correct tool for each client. The better you know the law, the better prepared you are to protect yourself and reach your desired resolutions. I’m self-motivated and a problem-solver. I am here to take some of the burden off my clients, lightening their load by looking at their cases piece by piece and presenting a way forward. Every client gets my full attention and advocacy.

As a litigator, I serve as an advocate for my clients in the courtroom, a bridge between the client and their solution. My goals for my clients are to show them the legal paths forward through each situation, so that they can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. My clients can reach me day or night so that we can tackle each problem as a team.

I’ve found that the best way to approach a legal issue is to look at it from all angles, starting with an objective look. Armed with all the facts and having considered all the possible paths forward, I am best able to compose a complete strategy. In litigation, it is equally important to be an effective attorney in the courtroom and in briefs. I enjoy the dualism of litigation that lends itself to compelling, persuasive writing as well as direct oral advocacy. It requires attorneys to use every tool in their toolbox to resolve a case.

From 2014-2015, I served as a federal judicial clerk for the Eastern District of Kentucky.  In this role I gained trial experience at all levels, from discovery and pre-trial motions to appeals.

Kentucky Leader

Community/Civic Leadership

Kentucky is my home; I was born and raised here and now choose to practice law and raise a family here. I enjoy teaching Sunday school at the church I attend with my husband.

I am also on the Board of Directors for Kentucky Conservatory Theatre, which produces Summerfest and Winterfest. I enjoy giving back to the community by supporting KCT as a local, nonprofit theatre company committed to providing professional training and performance platforms for Kentucky artists and audiences.
