LOUISVILLE, Ky. — McBrayer is proud to announce that Member Mitchel Denham has been appointed by Governor Andy Beshear to the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees.
The University of Kentucky Board of Trustees oversees one of the Commonwealth's largest and most influential institutions. Beyond educating students, the University is a major healthcare provider, research institution, employer, and economic driver. Trustees help guide the University's long-term direction and ensure it continues serving Kentuckians for generations to come.
Denham's appointment reflects a career that has combined the practice of law with a longstanding commitment to public service. As Assistant Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, he supervised every division within the Office of the Attorney General while leading several of its largest operations. His public service has also included leadership roles with the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, the Kentucky Personnel Board, the Norton Children's Hospital Foundation Board, and OneLouisville.
Together, those experiences have shaped Denham's approach to leadership and problem-solving, both in public service and in his legal practice.

"I have always been drawn to opportunities to serve organizations that make a meaningful difference for Kentuckians. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, it is especially meaningful to serve on the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees. It is an honor to give back to an institution that has given so much to me, and I thank Governor Beshear for the opportunity to serve."
