Member Preston Worley has been elected Chair of the Lexington History Museum Board of Trustees.
Worley brings extensive experience and dedication to the role. He has previously served as the Museum’s legal counsel and advocated for the Museum during his time on the Urban County Council.
As Chair, Worley will lead efforts to initiate a long-range recruitment and succession plan for the Board of Trustees. His leadership will also support key fundraising initiatives, the development of a signature event, and the growth of the Museum’s endowment, all in alignment with the FY26–28 strategic plan.
