Sherry Hurley works with individuals navigating divorce, custody and other family law matters where important decisions about family, finances and the future need to be made. That approach is grounded in eight years of civil litigation practice following thirteen years of experience with the Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office, where Sherry represented adults and juveniles in high-stakes matters. She handled numerous bench and jury trials and appeared regularly in Jefferson District, Circuit and Family Courts.  Working closely with clients through consequential situations strengthened her ability to listen carefully, assess complicated facts, communicate candidly and advocate effectively under pressure.

Whether working toward a negotiated resolution or preparing for court, Sherry balances practical problem-solving with a willingness to litigate when necessary. She makes sure clients understand where they stand, what choices are available and what comes next.
